Founded in 1980, Electric Test and Training Ltd is an independent electrical inspection, surveying and training company serving commercial, industrial and pharmaceutical clients.
E.T.S. is wholly independent and has no connection or association with any electrical contractors in order to ensure independence. At E.T.S. all our tutors and inspectors are fully qualified electricians with many years of practical experience both in contracting and in-house maintenance. Qualifications include Certificate in Safety & Health at Work from N.U.I., Dublin City & Guilds, In-Service inspection and testing of electrical equipment certificate from The Institute of Electrical Engineers. Tutors also have extensive experience in electrical inspection and carrying out surveys on various types of installations. E.T.S. is the largest independent registered training providers of electrical related courses in Ireland. Courses provided include: Testing & Verification tailored to facility electricians Portable Appliance Testing Training Ground Earth and Resistivity Training SafePass Training for the Construction Industry. E.T.S. is an approved registered trainer in course provision and is F.A.S. approved. Our training programs may be grant aided where applicants qualify under the Construction Training Incentive Scheme. In addition, we provide training on various aspects of the national wiring rules. We offer both ‘in-house’, where hands on demonstrations can be performed on site and in our Training Centre.
Our purpose built training centre opened in 2006, boasting 7 full Electrical Installations including domestic agricultural and Industrial. Fully operational ESB meters. Large screen and Projector for training. Full canteen facilities.
