Lightning Protection Testing
ETS will undertake a visual inspection and test of the Lightning Protection System (LPS) including Ground Earth and Continuity Testing on the installation in accordance with I.S.EN 62305-3 Protection against lightning - Part 3: Physical damage to structures and life hazard 2011:
A comprehensive report will be made available with all findings and test results.
ETS has a strategic alliance with an Electrical and Project management consultancy service. They can design, scope, manage, and certify your new or existing LPS.
ETS does not offer a repair service in order to maintain objective.

- performing continuity tests to all parts of the LPS where visible
- performing an earth continuity test of the earth termination system
- the resistance of each earth electrode/s will be measured while isolated from the earth ring and its down conductors (isolated measurement)
- where it is not possible to isolate the earth rods from the system; the system will be tested complete and documented in the report
- where joints or bonds fail the visual inspection a continuity test will be performed using a micro ohm (ductor) Megger MOM2 meter
